About the Scheme
The Graduate Scheme lasts for two years (two and a half years for Finance) and is made up of substantial real life work experience complemented by a specialist education and wider management development programme. Specialist training is key and, in this first two years, you'll be supported to achieve a post-graduate academic/professional qualification. Upon completion of the Scheme you will be provided with support to help your career flourish within the NHS.
The Scheme is made up of structured work placements provided by NHS organisations and managers, together with a range of education and development opportunities provided via a range of respected academic, professional and personal development providers, in partnership to provide integrated learning. You'll find more information about each of these elements in these sections.
The Graduate Scheme is designed to stretch and challenge, enthuse and engage fast track learners ready to lead the way. It prides itself on its "blended learning" approach - structured work placements in parallel with education, development and working towards professional qualifications.
