Orientation

Your 40-day orientation period provides an opportunity to focus on getting a broad overview of the health service and is flexible to allow each individual to shape their own experience - an excellent foundation before the real learning begins.

Orientation covers:

  • Health and social care as viewed through the eyes of the care givers, patients and partner organisations
  • The nature and pattern of health service delivery and the issues arising
  • How the NHS operates as both an entity and how its various components contribute to the delivery of health and social care.
