Award Winning

Already, our scheme has produced some of our most outstanding leaders including the current Chief Executive Officer, David Nicholson. So as you'd expect from an organisation that leads the way, our Graduate Management Training Scheme does too, consistently scoring very highly and making us one of the top Graduate recruiters. Below is just a selection of some of our recent awards which recognise our outstanding scheme:

• Large Employer of the Year in the CIMA annual awards 2011. This was in recognition of the outstanding leadership development and all round learning opportunities we provide our Finance graduate trainees.
• Number 1 in The Guardian UK 300 2011
• Top Rated Public Sector Employer in The Guardian UK 300 2011
• We are 5th in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers 2011 and we have been in the Top Ten of The Times Top 100 list every year since 2001
• HR Graduate Employers of Choice for The Times Top 100 2011. (Also winners in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010)
• Winner of the Diversity Award, CIPD Recruitment Marketing Awards 2010
• 2009 Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR): Graduate Selection & Assessment Award. This is awarded in recognition of the rigour and fairness of the recruitment process. (Also winner in 2007 & runner up in 2010)
• 2009 GTI Online Recruitment Student User Survey: we ranked as one of the leading online application systems, as voted for by students.

But it is not just our scheme that is award winning – so are our people. Our Finance graduates always do well in their CIMA exams and this year was no different as we've seen many of our graduates achieve outstanding results at the CIMA Strategic, Managerial, and Certificate level papers:

• James Blandford (Yorkshire and Humber – 2009 intake), came 1st in the world at E1 Operations
• Louise Mann (South West – 2009 intake) came joint 7th in the world at E1 Operations
• Simon Watts (Yorkshire and Humber – 2008 intake) came 1st in the world for Business Strategy, 1st in the World for Risk and Control Strategy, and achieved 1st on aggregate in the world at the Strategic level
• Richard James (Yorkshire and Humber – 2010) 9th in the world in E1
• Oliver Minton (North East – 2010) 3rd in the world in E1
• Michael Armour (London – 2009), 1st in the world in F2.

These are just some of the awards we have won over the years. We are immensely proud of our achievements and we are looking forward to winning more!
