Brighton"The beach is great, rocky, but that’s not a massive issue. There are a few public leisure areas too, like a basketball court and volleyball court on the sea front. Best thing is the midsummer Sea Cinema. A big screen on the beach showing loads of stuff from major sporting events to films." - Graduate Trainee
Canterbury"There are quite a few outdoor tracks for those who enjoy hiking or biking; same goes when it comes to sport, there are more than five local gyms; one of them including an Olympic size swimming pool and another one a full spa resort, with a medium size swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Canterbury also features a number of football and tennis pitches, for those into any of these sports." - Graduate Trainee
Medway Hospital"Being on the River Medway we have lots of outdoor spaces and all sports are covered including sailing. We also have a dry ski slope open all year round and two bowling alleys. There are lots of football and rugby clubs plus a very successful hockey team. We also have an ice rink and a good ice hockey team. There are lots of country parks and open spaces all over Kent – good for walkers and serious hikers alike." - Graduate Trainee
Surrey"The culture is great as many historical events took place here. There are also many picturesque locations for walking, sightseeing etc.” - Graduate Trainee
Kent, Surrey & Sussex
The Counties of Kent, Surrey and Sussex cover the major part of the urban and rural areas of South East England. Health Education England, working across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, borders (and has excellent transport links to) London, as well as direct routes to Europe with the Eurostar and high speed rail link, as well as the many cross channel routes.
It has a rich mix of towns, three ancient cathedral cities and a long and varied coastline.
In terms of lifestyle, rest and relaxation and transport links, we think it’s a perfect part of the world in which to spend your time on the graduate management training scheme.
You could be based anywhere in the area shown on the map above. The region of Kent, Surrey and Sussex covers locations such as Brighton, Worthing, Dartford and Dover.
