I am a law graduate with an avid interest in healthcare who thrives on keeping busy. Whilst studying at the University of York I juggled a part time job (occasionally two), playing sports (football and squash) and volunteering for my local Citizen's Advice Bureau. When a friend told me about the scheme I thought it was the perfect fit for me: the combination of work and study would keep me busy and the various placements would give me the opportunity to develop my interest in healthcare in challenging, hands on environments.
